How to achieve dual HDR 144Hz display with LG 24GN60R monitors and Dell WD19 docking station?


I have two LG 24GN60R monitors that support HDR and 144Hz refresh rate. I want to connect them to my laptop via a Dell WD19 docking station that has one HDMI port and one DisplayPort. I use the HDMI cables that came with the monitors and an HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. My laptop has an Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU and runs on Windows 11 with the latest updates and drivers.


However, when I try to enable HDR on both monitors, one of them becomes dim and grey. I can only have HDR on one monitor at a time. Also, I cannot set the refresh rate higher than 60Hz on either monitor. I checked the specifications and the bandwidth of the docking station and the cables, and they should be able to support dual 1920x1080p HDR with 144Hz.


What is the cause of this problem and how can I fix it? Is it a hardware limitation, a software issue, or a configuration error? I appreciate any advice or guidance from experts.
